Take a pair of shorts that fit you well from your closet, place them on a table, and measure the dimensions as follows:

1. Inside leg length: Place the tape measure at the center of your crotch and measure straight down your inside leg to the floor.

2. Width: Place the shorts straight on the table and measure the width of the waistband from left to right.

3. Outer leg length: Place the tape measure taut around the waistband and measure along the outside of the leg to the hem.

Sizes may vary between 2-3 centimeters as they are measured by hand.
